I need to borrow some families…
As many of you have seen, we have some new digs for the website and soon we will be moved into our new studio. We are Opening our New Studio!!!
As of June 15th, we will officially be Omaha Photographers. Yesssssssss!!!! I have found a great group of photographers that are now going to be my roomies in a photographers’ coop building. The group is called My Studio and we are located at 111th and Q. It is to the left of the Konica/Minolta building right there on Q street. We are still our own business, but we just share a very large space with a few other fantastic photographers. So, for now we are operating out of two studios until we make that final move to Omaha, but this is such big news for us. We are finally making some progress on our five year plan. Today I finally covered the gray walls with the second coat of white paint and we are moving on to the actual color scheme. So, I will keep you posted and hopefully be able to show some pics of our new digs. Thank you, to those new roomies of mine. I can’t wait to hang with you guys a bit more.

I just wanted to give an update to what has been happening in my small piece of the world and I promise there are many blog entries to come soon.
I haven’t ever gotten too personal with my blog but this entry deems necessary. Many of you know that my mom had been battling cancer for two years and last month she lost her battle. Her fight was long and we had spent many days traveling to and from her treatments, so we also had tons of time to talk and spend time together. She was a beautiful, loving, selfless, and amazing woman and I hope that I can just be half the woman, wife, and mother she was. I have been so blessed to have had her in my life and I miss her so much. She was my very best friend and I know that I will continue to have many days when the void just can’t be filled. However, I have also been witness to the greatness that can happen when a family loves each other so much as mine does. My father and my siblings are truly pillars of strength and I love them so much. So, now I am back to my normal schedule and we have already gotten into our new season of weddings which we will be blogging very soon. Thank you all for being so supportive and wonderful.

These are fun and uplifting two hour sessions of personal photography with me, using professional studio lighting and setups, to create amazing images. I have had clients tell me that their husbands keep looking at their albums even a few months later, so I know that they are definitely an appreciated gift.
Every session includes two hours of photography with me, password protected online viewing, a slideshow, and a hard back coffee table album designed by me.

Senior Photos…
This is Dani and Faye and they were so fun to work with. I had them come in one afternoon during their Winter Break and they brought their wardrobes with them. This is a little of my in studio work with them since it was too cold to go outside for a session. Enjoy and thanks ladies. You two are so fun. I wish you the best as you graduate this year.
This is Danielle. She was sweet enough to allow me and some colleagues of mine to shoot a modeling session of her in Lincoln, Nebraska. So, of course we went down to the HayMarket and got some great stuff for her portfolio.

End of year Special!!!
We will be updating our pricing structure in January and so we have decided to give you last minute deciders a chance to save a few $$. Who couldn’t use that, right? Well, until January 15th we will give a 10% discount on all wedding and senior photography packages. So, if you have our information and you couldn’t decide, hopefully this will help ya out a bit. The rule is that we have to have your contract in hand with your retainer payment and the 10% is yours. This can’t be combined with any other offers or specials and it is non-transferrable. It can’t be applied to print orders, only base packages. Let’s ring in 2009 and save some cash for that honeymoon or college.
